Billing
One price for the whole community, not per product. 14 days free, cancellable at any time.
The plans
| No subscription | Personal | Pro | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price per month | no subscription | €29 | €149 | individual |
| Paid yearly | — | €21.75 / month | €111.75 / month | individual |
| Who it's for | Reading only | Coaches and creators | Teams | Your own instance |
All amounts are final prices including 19 % VAT — monthly and yearly alike.
Paying yearly gets you three months free — €261 instead of €348 a year for Personal, €1,341 instead of €1,788 for Pro (also including 19 % VAT). That is the same 25 % as before, just put more tangibly.
Basic is not an offering but the state of being without a subscription: the community stays readable and fully intact, but nothing is written in it.
Enterprise is not a self-service plan but the Pukalani Studio offering: your own instance, your own domain, with consulting, concept, design and technical implementation. Priced by effort — talk to us.

Quotas
So that a single community doesn't take up the shared server, there are upper limits on comments:
| Plan | per day | in total |
|---|---|---|
| No subscription | 200 | 5,000 |
| Personal | 1,000 | 50,000 |
| Pro | 5,000 | 250,000 |
"Per day" means a rolling 24-hour window, not a calendar day. No such limit applies to Enterprise instances — they run on infrastructure of their own.
Trial period
- 14 days of Pro, no payment details, no cancellation needed.
- The trial starts at the moment your community is created.
- After that the community is read-only until a plan is chosen: posts, comments and sign-ups pause. Content, members and settings are kept in full — nothing is deleted, and with a subscription (Personal or Pro) everything continues immediately.
How many communities
- One during the trial period.
- Up to three afterwards, per account.
This staggering is an abuse brake: a fresh account can occupy exactly one address.
Changing plan
The plan belongs to your community. As the owner you find it in the dashboard under Community settings → Plan (bottom left in the menu): there you choose the target plan and the billing period (monthly or yearly) and end up in the Stripe checkout — after which you come back to exactly that tab.
Payment methods, invoices and cancellation are managed in the Stripe customer portal, which you open from the same tab.
Who may handle billing
Only the owner of the community — the other roles (admin, moderator, editor) don't even see the Plan tab. Who that is and how ownership is handed over: Members & roles.
