Pages

Your own content pages such as home page, rules, imprint or privacy policy — with an editor, draft mode and language versions.

Pages are the fixed texts of your community: home page, "About us", your ground rules for conversation, imprint, terms, privacy policy. You look after them in the dashboard under Pages.

How a page is put together

Address (slug)The path the page is reachable at — lower-case letters, digits, hyphens, no slashes (e.g. rules)
TitleHeading and page title, up to 256 characters

StatusDraft (visible internally only) or Published

Language versions

A page is its own version per language — same slug, different language. That way you can publish your imprint in German and leave the English version sitting as a draft, without a half-finished translation going online.

If the matching language version is missing, navigation and page fall back to the English one — and if that is missing too, to whichever was published first. So a link never leads nowhere; as soon as your translation is published, it takes over automatically.

Draft and publishing

A draft is invisible to visitors. Only Published makes the page public. There is no second approval step: what you publish is live immediately.

Legal texts are your responsibility. When your community is created, an imprint and a privacy policy are generated as draft templates with clearly marked gaps ([FILL IN: …]) — they give you the structure, not your details. Replace the markers, check the result (with a lawyer if in doubt) and only then publish; a draft is never publicly visible. There is deliberately no template for terms and conditions.

Where published pages appear

Published pages appear automatically in your community's main navigation, sorted by their order number. Two exceptions: home is the home page itself (the logo links to it), and legal pages — the addresses imprint, impressum, privacy, datenschutz, terms and agb — sit in the footer instead of the main navigation.

Who may edit pages

The editor role and above (see Members & roles). Viewers and moderators can read pages but not change them.
